Pamela J. Tebbutt Weiss
Sr Partner - Research & Development

Pam is the telecommunication industry’s foremost expert in business management modeling and brings over 25 years of direct telecommunications work experience to her role of Sr. Partner - Research & Development. In this role Pam will establish Decision Support models, determine best-in-class benchmarks and develop DSS tools that 4-tel.com will embody and champion within the telecom industry.

Grounded with tenure in Line Operations and Decision Support as a manager with Bell Canada, Pam joined the highly successful telecommunications consulting firm TELIC Corporation as its Sr. Director of Consulting Services, then as VP of Product Development for the budgeting & DSS tool - FACTS. Leading the successful deployments and subsequent refinement of this DSS tool for the, then, 7 operating RBOC’s, Pam left CSC shortly after its acquisition of TELIC Corporation to assume the role of VP Sales and Marketing Support for Oncor Communications. It was at Oncor where she developed business models and DSS tools that have been publicly recognized and widely credited as significantly contributing to Oncor’s huge profitability and market success. Succumbing to the desire of a less rigid corporate lifestyle, Pam entered the world of independent consulting and continued her career as a telecom financial management & DSS expert, whereby she has been in constant demand to create, manage, and install business modeling and budgeting systems for some of North America’s leading carriers, such as: Qwest Communications, LCI Communications, Teligent, Michigan Bell, Ohio Bell, Bell of Pennsylvania, New York Telephone, Illinois Bell, New England Tel, Southern Bell, Southwestern Bell and Bell Canada.  Only through the Canadian Mountie-like recruiting persistence of our founder Alex Wilson, along with the challenge, support and intrigue to develop a next generation DSS tool for the new millennium were we able to successfully attract Pam to join 4-tel.com in 2000 and engage upon the ground floor of our future DSS software solution – FORTUNE.

As the creative genius and principal author of 4-tel.com’s “PROFIT” (Planned Resource Optimization via Financial Information Tracking) business model, Pam’s role of Partner – Research & Development has her responsible for the new product introduction and lifecycle management of the FORTUNE solution 4-tel.com is currently deploying at 2 of North America’s largest ILECs. This will include Pam having to assume Product Manager duties such as: the functional qualification of software vendor packages, specific PROFIT configurations and/or customizations per client engagement, data model and data mapping/data migration strategy and deployment as well as the development and management of the ongoing customer support infrastructure. Hence, Pam is 4-tel.com’s first point of contact for all FORTUNE product inquiries.  She is also our resident evangelist for our PROFIT business model and, correspondingly, our resident guru on how to correctly manage a telco for healthy and enduring profitably in the new millennium.

A citizen of the United States, Pam is located at the center of the American Telecommunications Industry reporting out of our Washington, DC area office.
